Ag Teachers

The state FFA Poultry Evaluation CDE was held this past Friday in Athens at the UGA Poultry Research Farm. The results were announced, and banners awarded on Friday afternoon. The attached document shows the scoring summaries for the Senior and Junior divisions of the CDE.

Thank you to the University of Georgia Poultry Science department for their work in conducting not only the state Poultry Evaluation CDE, but all of the Area events as well. The faculty and staff of the UGA Poultry Science department are great partners and gracious hosts. I appreciate them traveling the state to work with our students in each Region and hosting our students at their research facility in Athens. We are blessed by their support.

SENIOR DIVISION
1st place team - Pickens County (advisor: Ms. Emily Fellenbaum)
2nd place team - Berrien County (advisor: Mr. Scott Johnson)
3rd place team - Jackson-Empower (advisor: Mr. Greg Gilman)

1st place individual - Josh Woelfi (Oconee County)
2nd place individual - Jeremy Westbrook (Pickens County)
3rd place individual - Lydia Carver (Brantley County)

JUNIOR DIVISION
1st place team - Central of Carroll (advisor: Ms. Allie Bridges)
2nd place team - Union County Middle (advisor: Ms. Whitney Watchorn)
3rd place team - Ware County (advisor: Mr. Eric Hickox)

1st place individual - Lainee Gill (Ware County)
2nd place individual - Ian Baldassarri (Central of Carroll)
3rd place individual - Josh Tippens (Union County Middle)
