Good Afternoon -
We are excited to recognize our award recipients who submitted 2024 Georgia 4-H and Georgia FFA Commercial Dairy Heifer, Market Beef, Breeding Heifer, and Market Hog Record Books. Attached to this email is a list of the finalists by species and category. Please share this information with your exhibitors and their families and follow up with them to ensure they attend the award presentations.
Final results will be announced at the start of each species show in the respective show ring:
Market Hog - 8:00 am on Friday, February 23, 2024
Breeding Heifer - 8:00 am on Friday, February 23, 2024
Commercial Dairy Heifer - 9:00 am on Friday, February 23, 2024
Market Beef - 8:00 am on Saturday, February 24, 2024
Please do your best to ensure that your student(s) are in attendance to receive their award. If you know that your finalist(s) cannot attend, please let me know as soon as possible so that we are not searching for them at the time of the presentation.
FFA & 4-H staff will assist with the award presentations/official pictures. After the results have been announced and photos are taken, all record books will be available to be picked up. We ask that one adult per chapter/county pick up all books for their group. If you had a 4-H member submit a record book, but it was not selected for recognition, we will have the original book available to be picked up at ringside.
