Anne, I can barely stand it. When I was studying the Pectens, Dave was so supportive and sent me so many Pecten papers and later we exchanged so much information. Harry, I do not know how I will do without his insight on the Peanut Island fauna. And Alan gave many programs to Palm Beach and Broward shell clubs. My heart hurts.

I was alerted this morning to the news that Dave Pugh passed away in Camden, SC.  Dave was a long-time member of the Palmetto Shell Club in South Carolina and for the last 15 years the NC Shell Club.  He was also a member of COA.  He was 86 years old. 
  He lived for many years in Florida where he was an active shell collector there as well.
 I have no other details.
