Decades ago on collecting trips with the well-traveled Florida/Caribbean
collectors, they had mentioned shells that appear to be cross-breeds
from some locations.
Do not remember specifically where those were purported from, just
remember the discussions. 
...but remembering where they bragged to collect from back then, I will
assume the northern Caribbean and Bahamas, and perhaps southern-most FL
Keys.
