I have that book Bob. I am trying to skim through to see what it says. I see Vokesinotus griffini complex mentioned.

OK, going for the jackpot here - does anyone have any of the following three books:
Petuch EJ. 1997. Coastal paleoceanography of eastern North America: (MiocenePleistocene). Kendall/Hunt Publishing Company, Dubuque, Iowa, 373 pp.Petuch EJ. 2003. Cenozoic seas: the view from eastern North America. CRC Press, Boca Raton, Florida, 328 pp.Petuch EJ. 2013. Biogeography and biodiversity of western Atlantic mollusks. CRC Press, Boca Raton, FL. 252 pp.

I'm trying to track down the author's reasoning behind changing Urosalpinx perrugata (Conrad, 1846) to Vokesinotus perrugatus, which seems to be spread among these three books.
Thanks.
