I've found MolluscaBase to be a pretty good guide to molluscan
taxonomy. Unless there's a very recent defnitive study that disagrees,
I'd go with MolluscaBase.

Subject: [CONCH-L] Correct Genus

 I have two Philippine land shells, portei and turbinoides. Are they
Helicostyla or Helicobulinus? Years ago when I obtained them, they
were Helicostyla. In a 2022 publication they were Helicobulinus. I may
have to verify all my Philippine shells. MolluscaBase has them as
Helicostyla. Any help would be appreciated.
