Dear DSSAT Community,

We have two Ph.D. positions (fully funded for 3.5 years, starting Aug 2023)
available for outstanding candidates to work in the Digital Agriculture Lab
at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) Bangkok, Thailand, under
the Agricultural
Systems and Engineering Academic Program. This Ph.D. project will integrate
advanced emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), big
data analytics, remote sensing, and modeling. The candidate is expected to
work in developing near real-time data-driven decision support systems to
evaluate experimental treatments and develop crop management plans.

Qualifications: 1. Master’s degree in agriculture/agricultural engineering/ any
relevant engineering discipline; 2. Experience with digital technologies
(GIS, Remote Sensing, GNSS); 3. Proficient in a Programming language,
preferably Python; 4. Excellent written and oral communication skills in
English.
