Founded in 1889, the University of New Mexico sits on the traditional homelands of the Pueblo of Sandia. The original peoples of New Mexico Pueblo, Navajo, and Apache since time immemorial have deep connections to the land and have made significant contributions to the broader community statewide. We honor the land itself and those who remain stewards of this land throughout the generations and also acknowledge our committed relationship to Indigenous peoples. We gratefully recognize our history.

Hi Everyone!

We're happy to announce that this year's conference will be held at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque (for the first time ever!) between September 25th and September 27th, 2024. There will also be an optional field trip on September 28th.

This year, we're trying something new, with the conference being held in person on the above dates, with the AGM, Exec meeting and Sounding Board being the only hybrid components. Then, we'll host a virtual symposium day on October 10th for those who wish to present virtually, including a conference sum up, poster presentations and more.

More information about the call for proposals, accommodations, and registration will be available in February.

Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns!

Warm regards,

Meg + Cheyenne
