Hello

I would like to widen out the discussion and ask if anyone has any
experience they would be willing to share with using identifying/tracking
mechanisms on maps (other than the standard ink ownership stamp), especially
with antiquarian materials. As we are yet to meet the preservation
department which is willing to let us slap barcode stickers on 400 year old
maps, has anyone made any other progress with this issue?

Thanks.

Hi,

Our library is already using RFID tags on books and videos.
We haven't expanded this practice to maps yet. Is anyone
else using these on maps?
