In an effort to cheer Alice up slightly regarding her question on maps put
out by Tudor Press in the 20s and 30s for a patron, ending with a sigh
regarding map publishers not being traced in bib. records; well, some of us
do!! I regularly trace for Rand McNally, Champion Map Corp., etc. if they
are not the "main entry" for a record, knowing that amongst us map folks
this can be definitely very helpful at times. Now, I know this may not be
exactly kosher according to AACR2R rules, but ... the patron is always
uppermost in my mind while I'm cataloging something! Hope this helps a tiny
bit Alice!
