I have an Atlas of Artificial Reefs of Florida by Donald Pybas, 1987,
Sea Grant Extension publication, University of Florida, Gainesville.
Florida has more aritificial reefs than anyone else.

Morning, this isn't so much a map library question as a geography department
question. Has anyone seen maps of, or reports/thesis on artifical reefs in/on
North America. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I would also like to thank all who responded to my query regarding care, upkeep,
and scanning of globes. The student is busily following up numerous suggestions.
Thank you in advance for any help.

Refer to NOS chart 1 "Nautical Chart Symbols, Abbreviations,
and Terms" section K "Rocks, Wrecks, Obstructions" p.45 line
46.1 & 46.2 OBSTRUCTION (FISH HAVEN) ARTIFICIAL FISHING
          REEF.

Then scan the nautical charts for those symbols. I do not
know of any list of artifical reefs by place name nor
lat/long. However, check with the DMA Board on Geographic
Names for any possible lists in their data.
