Please consider making a nomination for the Mary B. Ansari Distinguished Service Award.  Below is the criteria
and other information.

CRITERIA  for the Mary B. Ansari Distinguished Service Award

Nomination should include

        * the nominee's name, title and contact information

         *resume or curriculum vita

          * statement, not to exceed 700 words, indicating why the nominee is deserving of this  award.  Additional
supporting letters from other individuals may be submitted along with the nomination

           * the nominee, who does not have to be a member of GSIS, must have provided significant contributions
to the profession of geoscience information.

Send nominations to Claren Kidd, Committee Chair ([log in to unmask]) before June 10, 2006.  A digital
submission in WORD is preferred.
