Hi everyone:

I also found it listed in: Bibliography and Index of publications
relating to ground water, published by USGS in 1947. One of the authors
was the same author as the publication she’s looking for. The
publication was listed, but in the duplicates/mimeographs of reports
section. It described it as 2 pages with accompanying geologic map. I
let her know what it said in the bibliography, but she is pretty
confident that the original report is longer than 2 pages.

Thanks!

Chris

Hello,

I checked GeoRef for this item. It contains the following information in
the supplemental data of the record:

U.S. Dept. Interior Press Memo. 108556. This material was reproduced by
means other than ordinary printing.

My guess is that it was a press release that discussed work that either
was being done or had been done in New Mexico. GeoRef also says that it
is only 2 pages long. Linda Zellmer

Hi everyone:

I'm working with a Ph.D. student that's looking for the following title:

Ground-water resources of northwestern New Mexico. By Gerald A. Waring and David A. Andrews. Washington, DC: USGS, 1935. Description: 1 v.: ill., maps, tables, figs.

She found it in WorldCat and requested it though ILL. Unfortunately, it's only available from one library (NEW MEXICO STATE ENG LIBR). Unfortunately, according to our ILL department, we can't obtain it from them.

I was hoping that someone else may have this title. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Chris
