Hi Michael,

My colleague Mary Aagard and I did a survey on this topic in June 2015 and
the results were published in May in Collection Management. I don't know if
the information is too dated for you, but we tried to do a comprehensive
survey. The citation is:

Folkner C.A., and Aagard M.C. 2016. "The Influence of the Online
Availability of USGS Topographic Maps on Weeding Decisions in Academic
Libraries". *Collection Management. *41, no. 2: 66-81.

Not sure if this will help answer you question or not --

Regards,
Cheri
