The FTP site has been up for some time. What are you trying to do?

Hello,

If you have not been into Factfinder 2 for a while, you might want to
check it out. First of all, at the front, before you are confronted with
their tables, there is an option to select the data set of interest (for
example 2010 Census Data). I also downloaded some data this afternoon,
and found that the Census Bureau is now supplying a GeoID2 field (in
other words a functional FIPS Code). Finally, they also have a 2010
Tiger Line Boundary Download site at:
http://www.census.gov/cgi-bin/geo/shapefiles2010/main. I am still
waiting for the boundary data to download (Illinois Blocks). So, I will
see if the FIPS codes (geoID2) work with the boundary files. Stay tuned.
They may be making progress. Linda Zellmer
