Teachers,

This is a reminder that if you have a student who will be interviewing at
the state FFA convention as a proficiency finalist, please consider
bringing them to Veterans High School on Monday, April 15 at 4:00 PM for
the Central Region Mock Interviews.

In order to make this endeavor effective, please make sure your proficiency
students have their *opening statement (1 minute) created and memorized*.
Also, bring *two printed copies of the proficiency application* and have
them be prepared for questions. They will deliver the 1 minute statement
and answer questions from several different judges in several different
rooms. Therefore, they need to be mentally prepared to give the speech
several times. Official dress is recommended.
