Yes, definitely use LC Classification, Schedule G,
for classifying the collection. Much easier to deal
with it when it's still small. The only time I ever
didn't use LC classification (for USGS folded maps,
while I was at the CO School of Mines Library),
I paid for it in the time it took me to reclass
several hundred maps into LC, when it became
obvious that what I'd done was a very poor idea.
If you need proof - in the form of a list of reasons
to use LC classification -
