Hello,

One of the easiest ways to determine the name of a topo quad for a
particular location (especially if you are not sure exactly where the
place is located) is to use the Geographic Names Information System
online at http://geonames.usgs.gov/pls/gnispublic/.

While it may not be that useful for large metropolitan areas or large
counties, it is useful for finding the name of the quad that shows a
specific feature (except for caves and military bases of course). It
only gives the name of the 7.5' quad. If you want the smaller scale
quadrangles, the sites already mentioned might be the most useful.
